Compression garments & Manual lymphatic drainage

Northern Lymphoedema Services (Services page) provides comprehensive compression and lymphatic care to help manage swelling, discomfort, and skin changes associated with lymphoedema and chronic oedema. Choose from a large range of compression garments and adjustable wraps, with guidance on correct fit, pressure level, and daily wear to support fluid return and improve mobility. Pneumatic compression pump therapy may be offered as an adjunct to reduce limb volume and maintain results. Manual lymphatic drainage (specialised lymphatic massage) is available to stimulate lymph flow, soften fibrotic tissue, and enhance comfort, alongside practical self-management advice.
